Why Dubai?

Dubai

The IIA is excited to partner with IIA–United Arab Emirates to bring the 2018 International Conference to Dubai. Without a doubt, conference attendees will be able to immerse themselves in a truly global experience with international colleagues while engaging in learning across core tracks around leadership, innovation, value, and effectiveness.

United Arab Emirates, which is known as the "City of Gold" is a greatly desired destination for many. Don't just take our word for it – Dubai is the fourth most popular tourist destination in the world, and with 5.7 visitors per resident, the point is well proven.

Nearly three million people call Dubai home. At its center is Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building and free-standing manmade structure in the world. This dramatic city is the epicenter of a bustling region emerging as a major force within the global economy. Dubai is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, which is one of seven emirates that make up the country. This economic hub has attracted world attention through its many innovative large construction projects and sporting events.

The Conference will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, whose mission is to deliver “Destination Dubai” for the region, by providing a world-class business networking platform with integrated end-to-end services. The complex is exquisite, offering award-winning dining and entertainment to luxury accommodations and architecture.

Where to stay?

The IIA has arranged for conference delegates to enjoy special discounts on accommodations at fantastic hotels in Dubai, some within walking distance from the Dubai World Trade Centre.
